Technology, Inc. (STI) announced today that its Tabs3 Billing Software
has been named a finalist for the 11th Annual Law Office Computing’s
Readers’ Choice Awards. Tabs3 was selected in the Time and
Billing category. The winners and finalists represent the most used
software in the legal technology field today, according to Law Office
Computing’s readers surveyed for these awards. Either STI’s
Tabs3 or PracticeMaster software products have received finalist
honors in these awards eight of the past eleven years.
“The Readers’ Choice Awards are especially
meaningful because Law Office Computing’s readers are some
of the most technology savvy legal professionals in the nation,”
said Dan Berlin, President of Software Technology, Inc. “It
is also significant because it makes Tabs3 the only billing software
to receive award recognition from Law Office Computing, Law Technology
News® and TechnoLawyer this year – clearly making Tabs3
the most reliable and respected billing software for small to mid-size
law firms,” added Berlin.
The Readers’ Choice Awards were started to
honor the exceptional software manufacturers that have contributed
to the technological advancement of the legal industry and to provide
a valuable resource for firms looking to buy quality software, according
to Law Office Computing. The awards debuted in 1995 and have taken
place every year since. More than a dozen software categories currently
comprise the awards, including the categories of Trial Presentation,
Electronic Discovery, and Document Management. The annual August/September
issue of Law Office Computing contains more details about the winners
and finalists.
