Software Technology, Inc. announced today that the 2003 Survey of the American Bar Association Legal Technology Resource Center reflects that Tabs3 Billing Software is the most widely used time and billing software for law firms with two to nine attorneys. Over 11,000 surveys were sent to attorneys around the country to examine technology used by law firms in the United States.

According to the survey, one out of every three small law firms uses Tabs3 Billing Software. The second most widely used billing software is Timeslips, used by 28% of small law firms. Small firm is defined as firms with 2 to 9 attorneys. According to the survey, no other billing software is used by more than 13% of small law firms. The survey also looked at billing software used by firms with 10 to 49 attorneys. Tabs3 is the second most widely used billing software by firms this size.
