Tabs3 Billing Software Wins Third Consecutive Industry Award
Named Top Billing System for Firms with Under 50 Attorneys

Software Technology, Inc. announced today that its Tabs3 Billing Software won the 2005 Law Technology News® Award for Timekeeping & Billing System for firms with under 50 attorneys. The award, which was voted on by the readers of Law Technology News®, was presented to Software Technology, Inc. at the Third Annual LTN Technology Awards Dinner at the Hilton New York Hotel in New York City last night. Tabs3 won the same award in 2003 and 2004.

“In such a respected and competitive event as the annual Law Technology News® Awards, it is a great honor to be recognized as the best in your category, let alone the best in your category for three years in a row,” said Dan Berlin, President of Software Technology, Inc. “We are very pleased that both clients and industry experts agree, year after year, that Tabs3 is the best billing software choice for firms with under 50 attorneys,” added Berlin.

In 2005, the editors of Law Technology News® asked the publication’s more than 40,000 subscribers to select products and vendors that represented outstanding achievement in legal technology in 11 award categories. Ballots were solicited from LTN’s subscriber audience of law firm partners and managing partners, legal administrators, MIS/IT directors and specialists, corporate counsel, litigation support specialists, librarians and other legal professionals. Winners were determined based on the most-mentioned product/company in each category. Information on the awards and winners will be featured in the March issue of Law Technology News and on the magazine’s Web site at www.lawtechnologynews.com.

“The role of technology continues to grow in virtually every area of the practice and business of law, from the court room to the back office. The winners of our third annual awards program, selected by readers who use and rely on these technology products and services, are leading the industry. We congratulate them on this significant achievement,” said Kevin Vermeulen, publisher of Law Technology News®.

PracticeMaster, Software Technology, Inc.’s award-winning practice management software, was named a finalist in the Law Technology News® Award category for Case/Practice Management Software for under 50 attorneys. PracticeMaster includes a firm-wide calendar, conflict of interest checking, document assembly, tracking for online research, e-mail and phone calls, and numerous integration options.
