Training Video Help

Training videos use Adobe Flash 10 and JavaScript, and are optimized for 1024 x 768 or greater resolution. If the video does not start, displays only an outline of the video, or you receive a yellow ActiveX message in the Information Bar, please verify that you have Adobe Flash 10 or later installed, and that you are allowing active content to run. Troubleshooting steps and additional information about troubleshooting Training Videos can be found in our Knowledge Base on the Internet, in Knowledge Base Article R11498, "All About Training Videos".

Training Video Features

Each training video consists of a row of control buttons and a movie screen.

Control Button Bar

The control bar is shown at the top of each video, and contains the title and controls for the video, allowing you to perform several functions.

Control Panel

Beside the logo, displaying which program the video is designed for, four buttons allow you to control the playback of the video. The following buttons are included:

This button restarts the video from the beginning.

This button returns you to the previous scene of the current video.

This button toggles playing the video. Pressing this button once will pause the video. Pressing it again will resume the video.

This button skips to the next scene of the current video.

Video Banner

A banner appears at the right of each control bar. The banner contains the Title of the video. In the sample above, the title is "Working with Addresses".

Movie Screen

Each movie begins with a title screen, containing program and copyright information, followed by a short instructional video. Note that some elements may be modified slightly to better display features for these tutorials.

You can use F11 to toggle full screen viewing. For best results, view the videos using 1024 x 768 or greater resolution.

Right-Click Menu

Clicking the right mouse button anywhere on the movie displays an Adobe Player right-click menu that provides access to the Flash Global Settings panel on Adobe's Web site.
